In these states you must report or upload CE before (or during) renewal.

  • Alabama — 24 contact hrs per 2-yr period
  • District of Columbia — 24 contact hrs / 2 yrs
  • Florida — 24 hrs / 2 yrs (16 general + mandatory topics); exempt general if NCCA/ABSNC certified
  • Georgia — One option: 30 CE hrs / certification / accredited program / 500 practice hrs / other approved
  • New Mexico — 30 contact hrs / 24 months (cert may substitute)
  • Vermont — One of: 400 practice hrs/2 yrs, 960/5 yrs, 20 CE hrs/2 yrs, or certification
  • West Virginia — 12 contact hrs / 2 yrs
  • Wyoming — One of (past 2 yrs): 400 practice hrs / 40 CE hrs / pass NCLEX / refresher / higher nursing degree. No mandatory CE.
